Please help anyone know how to fix a vibrating hood 02-03 Maxima

I have been having problems with my hood since I got my car. The hood constantly vibrates at 30-70mph. I already adjusted the latch and that didn't work.

I did do a search on this and did not find anything on the 02-03 max. I am thinking about just putting some sort of insulation to see if that works but don't know where to put it. I am also trying to avoid paying the dealer 100.00 to do the tsb.

Check the TSB in the TSB Sticky.

You need to jog them into the rythm of looking for shat themselves.

yeah I have seen that tsb. my problem is more hood movement up and down then flutter. I should have worded it different. my hood has a little play causing it to bounce up and down causing noises. I have the latch moved down but there is still wiggle room.

What you're seeing is what that TSB is stating. Mine was up/down a well, before I performed the TSB.

maybe I will have to get the rubber hood bumper headlamp pack and see if that works. I really don't want to do the caulking part the pics are not very clear. don't want to mess anything up.

i though the 2 rubber hood bumper ***** are adjustable, when my hood was shaking I just unscrewed them a little so that they were taller (I didnt read the TSB, maybe this was already mentioned in that, idk)

figured it out. My hood stops on the outer end near the fender where the hood meets behind the light was loose and moving around. I bought some weather stripping and applied it to the hood where it meets the headlights and put some where the hood meets the hood stops and that's it. No more noises or hood flutter. thank god
