My stupid airbag light started flashing again yesterday....Short synopsis...I had the airbag light fixed in June at the stealership with a repair kit for the clockspring that was a recall for the altima. The tech said this kit has worked in the past for other maximas but it only worked for me for 3 months....I talked to the tech and now the stealership told me the clockspring assembly needs replaced for a price of 260....I can here the connection behind the horn rattling...I am tempted to try and reconnect but fear I might set the airbag off...I am also contemplating taking apart the face gauge and removing the light bulb to stop the annoying blinking light....Any input would be helpful... I know airbag safety is important but I don't feel like spending another 260 on the car.....
