what if he used the parts from the old setup
for the rear... top hat, spacer and the oem rubber mounts (assuming it's the same on the fifth gen) until he can fit the new rear mount?
BTW, my old parts are sitting in a box if Brian thinks it will work but doesn't have the parts in stock. Will trade for one leather parking brake cover
The new coils are nice and quiet with the same handling,,, yummy.

If you want to do that, you should have gotten other coil-over systems which have been available for 4th gen max long time ago, for cheaper price &better quality, and make it fit (probably easier, too) why waited for Cattman to make something that "Sort of" fit----
Cattman products = trying to make it fit but not really

Hope he fixes them soon....

I sent Brain an email asking about this and I am waiting to see what he has to say... I think we all should give him a chance to respond and fix the problem...If he does then great. Theres not many company's that make parts for the max I for one think it's nice that he is even trying to develpe anything for the cars. From what ive seen on here alot of people are mad at stillen... and if you mad now at cattman then what the hell are you gonna mod with...somtimes sh*t happens it sucks i know cuz I was ready to put them on monday...But again if he fixes it then no harm no foul. This is the only complete coilover for the cars anyway.

.......I know that Brian will help correct the problem for those who have the coilovers already and will find and correct the install problem. So I will still continue to buy his products, because they seem to me, to be the best out there for the Maxima and I thank him for taking the time, money and effort to do so. I just thought that after the fronts and rears were measured a prototype set would have been put on a 5th-gen to check the spring rates and the damping force. Then the problem with installing them would have been discovered.

Qustion? Has anybody told Brain other than my email that there is a problem? What is the exact problem...That the top mounts don't fit? If so can the stock mounts be used or the gen 1 mounts in the meantime? As far as testing goes I thought he did test them...Im not gonna search for the post but his post went somthing like "they do fit on the 2000 and up maxima's after checking them" or somthing to that affect.

ummm, from what i hear They only measured the fronts and those fit. Im sure they''ll have this prob solved but what kinda isnt good is that people are spending $1600 for coilovers and they never even been tried on their 5th gen.
What other coilover kits are avalible? We always hear rumors that certain Japanese coilovers will fit but i duno anyone thats tried it yet.

JIC is one of them and has been always available for 4th gen max a long time. Time to check out some JDM shops!
