Thanks for looking. My friend's getting married this Saturday and they're using my car for the Bridesmaid car. And thus, they want to plaster it with those flower pom pom things.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of tape would be best (i.e., leave no residue, no damage, etc.) for my Max?

Thanks a lot!

masking tape will be your best bet, but it is not too sticky...if you can, try to convince them to stick everything to the windows rather than the paint...windows are easy to clean...you can run a razorblade over them and not hurt them at all...if you have to do it on the paint, try masking...but defenitely don't use duct tape

I don't exactly know what the flower pom pom things look like, but what if they put them onto something like a board, or a thin sheet of clear plastic and you could then tie the plastic/board to your car instead of taping them. Just a thought.

Wax it first! Take the tape off quick - then it won't make much difference.

You know you're gonna have to go to the track right after the wedding to race the estrogen out of your car!! hehehehe

The best thing you can do is go out and get some ribbon, 1-2 inch wide. Stretch the ribbon from door to door, in the trunk, under the hood and stick the pompoms to that! Tie a knot in the ribon so that it does not get pulled out the door or tie it down in the engine bay or the trunk.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll try the ribbon idea for the non-glass areas (and maybe that race thing too <grin>).
