At least that's what the guys at Automobile Magazine wrote. They drove both cars back to back and like riding the new Altima much better. Blasphamy!. I think the Alty deserves a spin

Makes sense, the Altima's got the new multi-link rear suspension and all we've got is a beam.

I think that's because a beam in back is very similar to a shaft in back!

It depends on what they mean by better ride... like if it corners better...

I was looking at edmunds and they said that the 2k1 SE Altima comes with a fstb... hmmm

I meant smoother ride, not handling. Handling should be an interesting comparison too.

Shouldn't the 2k2 Altima, being equipped with a
Skyline-derived suspension, out-handle and out-corner
a 2k2 Maxima (even if the Max has HLSD)?

Actually

The reviwer (Mark Gillies) said that the ride of the Altima was very good for a FWD car, and made reference to the Ford Mondeo Euro spec and the Passat. Thank god, for the Skyline derived suspension.
