Well, i was coming home early from partying tonight (midnightish) and was cruising when this saturn pulls up bumping rap next to me. I look over and he looks back. the light turns and I jab the gas, not floor it, just to chirp. I don't see him nailing it so i ease off and suddenly he darts past me to where his rear bumper is at my front tire. I jam WOT and off we go. We went up to 80ish and he was only at my rear bumper. I beat him, but 0-80 and I only got like 1 car length on him total... Is something wrong with my car? its a freaking saturn for god's sake! The fastest saturn in the world with a turbo and nos only runs low to mid 15's. I should have hawked this guy. I've only got 1400 miles, the car seems to run fine, i ran a 16@86 last week with some driver error. And i've noticed that with my only 1400 miles the air filter is absolutely filthy! There are some spots where it is just black! I can't believe how dirty it is! and this isn't a really dusty area. anyway, help me fore i do something drastic!

Wide open throttle.

It used to be one of the functions of a carburator.

You are correct, the 2000 LS2 go's 0-60 in 7.47secs, and the 1/4 in 15.69 according to Autoweek magazine. It is rated around 180HP and 190 TQ with a 3182 curb weight. Not too shabby.
