new car for me

(as a replacement for the motorcycle, not the maxima)

just bought a 1987 bmw 325i convertible off ebay for $2150 (a steal)it runs and looks great - at least until i start squeezing more power out of it. Something about the maxima in comparison is that this car rides and handles turns better but it is significantly slower. However, the aftermarket parts availible are prety sweet especially the chips. a $250 chip will add 15hp and 15ftlbs peak and a decent amount all across the band to a 167 hp engine. Translate that percentage to a 222hp stock engine and you get an extra 20 hp. sucks that we don't have this option for the maxima.

Dude, this car is 14 years old ... Have you priced BMW parts lately ? I don't recommend adding a chip to it, the engine will need an overhaul soon.

What motorcycle was it replacing? Any pix of the bimmer? Good luck with the car
