I'm copying this over from Shing's due to it seems like everyone is over here now



1st of all, will switching to 5w30 Mobil one give my Max a new feel or sound? My co-worker with 7600 miles on his SE switched over to Mobil One at 1K and his car feels more responsive than mine....the engine also sounds different...more growly if thats a word No mods on his car at all.

Also I know from answers that I've gotten here is that neither a K&N or an Amsoil filter will amount to much of a difference other than maybe better mileage. Is one better than the other or should I just stick with stock paper?
