Check your tire pressure.

I was to lazy to check my tire pressure for weeks. I finally did it today and the front was 27 psi(supposed to be 33) and the rear was 27(supposed to be 30).

This is just a reminder to all new car owners. I know some of you check stuff everyday.

plus it's getting colder.. so every 10 degree drop results in 1 psi lower

Question?

What pressure are the members of this forum using?

2 months ago I increased mine to 40psi (which is well under the max of the Bridgestone tires), and the ride does not seem to be too firm at all...

I used to drive mine with thte max of the tire pressure on my tires

then i REALIZED it was bad to go with the max on the tire. I never have tried the cars listing for the tire pressure. So I did a few days ago. I get better acceleration but my gas mileage is suffering abit . Thats weird. In my manual it said my tires should be at 33 on front and 29 on the rear. But the max for my tires are 44psi. Thats a big diff for the front. In the back the tires look fine but the front tires look like they are gettign flat or something . But since I get better acceleration I guess I ll keep it like that for awhile, but I might have to go up alittle becuase of the gas thing. oh and I have Goodyear Eagle GT II's on my car.

IF you have Low-Profile tires....

do yourself a favor...
don't EVER drive around w/ less than 5psi under Max Pressure...
unless you like bending expensive rims.
