I just got my back 5 windows tinted with sungard. Used 5% film and with factory tint it lets about 2% light through. Looks awesome! And it only cost me $150, twenty bones cheaper than any other shop in the area. I'm goign to take some pics right now, but i'll have to get them developed and scanned b4 i post any.... I'll take a few of my OHD grill too. And some more when my front clear corners come in...

hehe, and i'll still be stock.... (k&n panel filter doesn't count)

I never realized how much cooler it is in the car with tints. And being in SoCal, you need it. I think that's the best thing besides my handling upgrades I plan to do.

 

wow... 2%... limo, i take it? that's almost dangerous... i wanted that, but the tinting guys recommended otherwise. did you get your fronts done too? (i got a fat ticket to remove the things... BAH!!!) it was SO much cooler when i had them on the front... no OUCH! steering wheels.

 

Quick question, did you remove the tints yourself?
Didn't it leave rsidue and gooey stuff all over the place?
Time is running it out for me... i might have to have that done. Inspection time is soon.

my tinting place said it i ever get a ticket, they'll remove it for me for free. they're pretty cool about it.

Actually its 5% limo tint, but with the stock tint on the windows (all new windows have a tiny bit on them) it combines to be darker. he used a light tester like cops do and it showed up at 2%. I just took it out tonight and if there's no light behind e its pitch black. with light behind me i can see just fine. I might have to upgrade my reverse lights though...

But, it looks awesome.

And no, i got the k&n the other day, i was just saying i've spent so much dang money on the car and I'm still stock...

And I wll stay stock for a while! I can hold off the mod bug! I can!
