(i was considering rice [since it's what supposedly holds the Great Wall together] but that's gonna be a little messy....)

Is this a non-factory deflector?? The ones from the dealer just clip in to the front of the sunroof and then tighten with screws. My 2001 is good and tight, but when I had the 96, I never could get it to stay in place quite right.

Yea I hope it is easy for you to! It was kind of frustrating on my 96, getting the thing tight, but the new Max... no problem!

3M tape huh?? Hope it is an easy install... should be. I would be concerned though of the strength of any adhesive under certain conditions... like going through a touchless car wash... the air dryer really seems to give it a work out.

Best of luck to you though!

I took mine off and saw no tape...The screws were holding it secure and the rubber along the edges forms a seal to the roof.

I have my wind deflector. I'll sell mine to you if you want it. I had the dealer take it off before i picked the car up.

try 3M exterior super strength double sided tape. it comes with a red cover thing and the glue is grey...

its the same material they use behind the MAXIMA, SE/GLE emblems.

Stop what'cha doin!

Alex...I've got a 3M Scotchgard thing for you. I was going to include it with the deflector. Glad you got all this input though.

Contact me about delivery.
