Check out this link ... we had a discussion about this a couple of weeks ago. Also check the stickies up there at the top of the 5th gen forum. You can find out alot of useful info in there about just about anything.

wait ur saying that if i get a cattman cai, i will have to drill a hole in my caR? And what is all that sh*t about OSCAI, i just went a regular CAI from cattman. and if i do have to drill a hole, how much less hp will i get from just a hi-flow intake from cattman? Thanks..

We need somthing like this in the FAQ...

1. Cone intake (Stillen $180w/ real K&N filter, JWT popcharger $120 imitation K&N filter) Simple, loss of low end torque extra hp on top end. dynos from +4 to +10 hp

2. CAI (catman $200?, place racing $220, w/ real K&N filter, warpspeed $140? imitation K&N filter) Little difference on the dyno, better low end, most gains realized on the move. Yes you will have to cut a hole to get air from outside the engine

3. OSCAI homemade intake. +2 and up HP Start with a K&N drop in filter in your stock air box ($40) and buy some pipe/dicting/hose ($5 to $30) to connect the stock airbox with outside air. Advantage is cheap and easily removable.

Hope this helps! btw I have just the K&N drop-in, I'm waiting for a cone CAI!!!
