For some reason, my rear brake moans with I brake softly (like tapping the brakes or lightly riding the brakes). This happens usually at low speeds. I was stuck in traffic last weekend (low speeds, light braking) and it was so annoying. Also, it got a lot worse with the RSB on so I took it off. Does anyone else have this problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

I am having this same problem right now. About a month and a half ago it started. I had it into the dealership last week and they said everything looked fine and lubed up everything. On the way home (and since then) the sound is no more prevalent and happens more in busier traffic. It is like a moaning/rubbing sound (like the tire is rubbing against the car or something...very odd sound) but it is more dominant in parking lots, low speeds and turning into parking spots. Half-way on the brake pedal seems to be the trigger point. Anyone have any thoughts!? TIA!!

Make sure the pins that the calipers ride on are lubed and not bent. the calipers should move smoothly on them.

At low speed you will get this type of noise if they are binding.

I have the same problem but it was solved after I switched out therotors due to a frozen caliper that was dragging on my rotors for nearly 4 months causing it to warp.
