IS it loud?
My wife says it sounds like a mustang
I've got Stillen's and it sounds awesome at anything more than half throttle... but idling and most of your every day driving you won't notice a difference as far as sound goes...
It has much better throttle response further up on the tach.. and it feels more powerful everywhere.. it's kinda like the difference between a/c on and a/c off

Congrats.
Yes.
How "loud" is "loud"? I personally don't think mine is loud. "Loud" is relative.

its gonna take you longer to accelerate off the line until you reach ~3500 rpms. it's one downside your gonna have to live with. =\

I guess it depends mostly on how you drive your car. I tend to drive more often with my engine revving under 3500 rpm than above 3500 rpm, so the OSCAI works really well for me. But it sure ain't as pretty as a cone intake when you pop the hood!

Which, of course, argues in favor of the OSCAI. It's better on the bottom and not quite as good on the top.

The loss in low-end torque isn't THAT dramatic nor is the gain in hp at high rpm, zgrm100. You're only talking about a handful of ft-lbs and hp one way or the other. It's not like adding a supercharger or NOS. And it's not that noticeable in day-to-day driving. The most noticeable thing about it is the way it makes your car sound at WOT! :vampire:
Enjoy!
