Why can't we buy the Supercharger directly from Vortech?

You can... but you still have to buy the mounting plate, piping, etc. from Stillen (or get them custom made)... which still means bling bling for you (maybe even more).

This is more of a guess than anything. But Vortech doesn't have an application directly for the Maxima, it is Stillen that makes the application fit for a Maxima. I looked on Vortechs website and they don't list the Maxima there. But they say to call if you don't see your car listed. Just a guess.

it shouldn't cost much more than buying a pre-made supercharger for Maximas...but you always have the burden of doing a R&D and making sure all of your home-made parts fit like a glove(since last thing on your mind is exhaust leak...)....i'd just buy it directly from Stillen to save my A$$ some trouble...
