Ok here's the story....

After work yesterday I turned car on and starts shaking. I drive car for about 1/4 mile and then servic engine light comes on. I drive straight to dealer and the service dept is closed, its 6:15pm. One of the salesmen tells me that the problem could be that the gas cap might be loose. ha ha, had to hold myself from laughing. So I take it in this morning at 8am. They call me at 11:15pm and say proble is that one of the coils was not firing, but they couldn't determin which one it was. He said he is going to replace all of them, but car has to stay over night. On a good note, they are going to install new door sills to fix my sqeeky window problem finally. This is my 4th time taking it in for window sqeek. But finally they are going to fix it right, hopefully.

Sorry for the long story. Now I'm forced to drive my brother's eclipse until mine is done. The car feels like a Jacket compared to mine. Only good thing about it is that its a stick.....

Sorry to hear that your car is not working quite right but at least they are going to fix it. As for squeaks and rattles, Nissan seems to have a problem being able to solve those...even after the four page TSB.

Hope all goes well.

You do meant the TWENTY four page TSB, right?

And as for the gas cap, yes it has been known to throw CELs and I believe throw gas pressure warnings.

Yeah, on my mom's Saab she used to always get a check engine light whenever the gas cap wasn't tightened like 10,000 clicks past the tightest point...
but it can also happen on the maxima.

Lots of people on the forums have had the coils replaced, there's another thread about it I think.

Hopefully your car is working fine now, though.
