Here goes...I was on my way back from Charlotte tonight coming north on I-85 outside Durham, when I come up on a little knot of traffic cause by the usual retard soccer mom in her minivan not paying attention. Finally it opens back up to 3 lanes, and the dumb ***** moves over. Right behind her is a 96-98 Mustang GT, and riding his *** is an older Impala SS (the one that looks like a Caprice). Looking at how close they were, I knew something was up. Soccer mom moves over, they go past, and line up next to each other in the right 2 lanes and slowed to about 65, so naturally I haul up into the far left lane. The dork in the GT laughed at me, but the Impala surging forward got his attention back, and when the SS slowed back down, I could hear them both get on it hard, so naturally, I did too. Let me say, props to the Impala, cause that **** was fast. We both quickly pulled on the GT and the Impala had me by about half a car length up till about 90, when I started to pull back on him. I won't disclose what speed it got up to, but I finally took about a car length on him and he flashed me, so we shut it down. The GT was about 2 or 3 lengths back when it was over and wouldn't look at either of us as he did his ricer fly-by. The Impala gave me a thumbs up and proceeded to go back to taunting the GT. Loads of good fun....also nailed an Altima who was driving like an ******* on I-264. Tailgated me, so I moved over, then floored it when he got next to me. This went on for about 5 minutes, with some really thorough, vigorous, no-vaseline, *** raping on my part. Don't know what that dude was smoking, but it's been awhile since I saw someone lose that bad....

Great kill nc00max! Are you driving stick or auto?
I just ran a 90-something Mustang GT on the freeway yesterday. Started at 65mph and stopped at 120mph. Had him by about 3-4 cars.
Anyway, keep up the good kills!

I have a damn automatic....for now. But hey, looks like it's doing the job anyways.

Damn your car puts down a ton of power for a NA auto! What gear did you dyno in? My stinkin modded 95 5spd only put down 173.1 HP in 4th . I do have a truck load of excuses though .

Damn, you're saying the headers aren't doing anything? Yeah, I'm pretty happy with my dyno numbers, and I can't wait to transfer them to a 5spd, especially after watching BrianV's video.

My headers added about the same amount as a Y-pipe does. I think I can contribute my "not so good" #'s to 2 exaust leaks, jamned PCV, EXTREMELY dirty TOB and old spark plugs. As soon as I get my UDP put on I am going to dyno again, I expect to see approx. 183 FWHP then. Wish me luck!

Good race. GT drivers tend to be cocky (next to SI owners) thinking they are king of the road. I've yet to race a 90'sh GT.. With my luck, I would end up racing a sleeper GT. I-264 is a good freeway to open up. But, since my wife forbids me to race with her in the car I keep it at 65.

nice run!

I have a story about this d**k in an Impala SS I came up against a few weeks back. I was taking the twisty backroads home one day and this old guy in an Impala was behind me. I wasn't going real fast (maybe 60) and this guy was keeping up on my tail maybe a carlength back on the straights. But when I hit any curves, I never slowed down and the Impala always fell wayyy back. I could tell the guy was getting pi$$ed. This continued for about 10 miles until the road opened up to two lanes. Once this happened we both hit it and we are even for the most part until the road becomes one lane again. Then, this **** decides to cut into the shoulder of the road and cut me off. Man, that really set me off. I had to slam my brakes. I gunned it and got up on his tail after that. But I had to turn off soon thereafter. I was

Well, you'll have to get her to let you take it cruising one of these nights before you head off to WA. I've noticed that most GT's around here aren't modded, but I do know a guy on my boat with a 12-second '90. Had to see a video to believe it, cause that thing looks like a rusted out ****box if I've ever seen one. Congradulations on the up and coming bambino!

Impala SS's are fast. My good friend from college ran against me at the drag strip this spring. He ran a 14.7. (He's stock too.) I forgot the trap speed. I was surprised his car had good top end.

Dude, I am also on altimas.net and I read the post about that altima, he's an idiot, he went on altimas.net saying how he destroyed a maxima, don't worry, we told him otherwise.
