My '01 SE 5 speed has 3800 miles on it. Noticed that when the car is cold car stumbles slightly as I accelerate...only last for a few minutes...fine otherwise. Is this the symptom of fuel cutout that I've been reading? Its never a problem once its warm and I have used fuel injector cleaner which seemed to help for a week or so...thanks.

DON'T USE FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER!!!!

Especially, on a BRAND NEW car. It causes more problems than it cures and it ONLY works on injectors that have had MANY THOUSANDS of miles on them. Again, Nissan injectors are VERY good and should not need cleaning unless fuel quality is very poor(like in MEXICO) and the fuel filter is really dirty.

I'm not sure about your problem, but take it to a dealer. I bet it's an O2 sensor that is not working properly until everything is warmed up. Just a guess.

I have noticed this on occassion. When the car is cold, it will act as though no gas is getting to the engine and stutter. This is different that the fuel-cut (I've had the TSB performed). It happens completely randomly (maybe 10 times in 12,000 miles). It happens during acceleration (as opposed to constant throttle fuel-cut issues). It happens once and usually within the first 30 seconds of driving. It doesn't seem to be a big deal. I agree with ICEY2K1, I think it's just a sensor glitch during the warm up cycle. So many different things are happening during the warm up cycle to help reduce emmissions that I think the car gets confused for a second. This has never been an issue after 30-60 seconds of driving. If it doesn't happen by the time I leave my neighborhood, it doesn't happen at all.
