Ok, I hate to be bothering you ricers again...but I just read a post stating a maxima beat a BMW 740... HAHA what a JOKE....Let me go ahead and say... none of your rice burners will ever have the pleasure of beating a Bavarian Auto... Peace and im out this *****..

1995 740i/iL are plain slow off-the-line. Our automatics can even beat it to 60mph. But from then on, the 740i/iL gain. The guy who posted about the race never mentioned the year. So it could be a 1992 or a 1995. Who knows? "none of your rice burners will ever have the pleasure of beating a Bavarian Auto." Those 318i/is are killers. We should all watch out for them!

Even if you do own an M, it doesn't come with the maturity package, does it? Spoiled teenagers...

Let's remember the facts!!

1. When the Max got MT car of the year in 95, MT was quoted as saying something like, This performs like a BMW and not the small one. ie 540. I have the original mag.

2. Nissan advertised and had the numbers to back it up, that the Max accel .2s faster or slower (either way it's close) to the BMW 540 (auto). Hmm V6 vs $$V8$$ That doesn't say much for a car that cost so much.

Today the 540 is very fast and very expensive.

If a person is blessed to have money like that for a car, then it's a $$ issue not car, and they should be thankful for the privilege.
