now that its warm during the day and cold at night I'm getting condesation in my drivers side clear sidemarker. I drilled a hole in the back of the marker so it can breathe.
maybe its not big enough? How do I fix this?

I've noticed some condensation after washing my car last time. Isn't there a rubber piece on the wire harness? Maybe that's not thick enough?

So Kev you're saying the ...

eveything should be sealed? no openings? I'll check the rubber sealing and patch the hole I drilled and see if that works

I have the same problem with my driver's side one too!! Looks like a production line quality problem. I've tried tweaking the harness but to no avail. I just gave up on it. As long as it doesn't cause a problem it's not too bad. Also, because it's clear it doesn't really stand out. If you guys figure out a way though, please post it.

Peace....

That's my guess... Come to think of it... I vaguely recall that it was on the other side of the clears. Not the side where the bulb sits, but the other side of the clear divider.

I'll check up on this (if it's not raining) when I get home.

Ask Andi or Russ, who I haven't seen for a long time.

1max2nv might know too since he rewired my 4th gen.

Basically you wire the sidemarker or corner signal to the fogs so it gets its signal to turn on from them instead of the headlights. Or wire the signal to the battery but remember to turn the off when you shut off the car.

u can try poppin' em' into an conventional oven with the heat real low. let it sit in there for a day and all th water would evaporate. but it wont fix the problem. just dries it out. if u turn the heat up too high then uh oh.. your bad u melted those suckers.

all above are just helpful hints.. u mess up, then maybe u gotta get the clears i'll be making. muhahaahah.

yeah geocities is now part of yahoo I think. I had to get a yahoo account to get my geocites account back.
Fortunately now it makes my geocities url just my username instead of some long *** crap thats hard to remember http://www.geocities.com/gr8bone

try that...you files should still be there unless they sent you an email saying they closed your account.

My driver's side rear clear does the same thing too . . .

Thanks for clearing up the mystery. By the way, is there anyone out there whose driver's side rear clear DOESN'T get condensation?
