Got my stillen high flow intake today. Wanted to install it, but couldn't get the stock air box off. I think i stripped the bolts. Any tips on getting the thing off? one of the bolts is impossible to get to, and the instructions suck.

oops. Did you use metric size sockets? I don't remember any of the bolts being too difficult. Are you using a monkey wrench or something similar?

nah, i mean the location of one of the bolts, its like 6-8 inches down, can't really reach it, between battery and air box.

Oh yeah... forgot about that one. I used an extender on that one. If you don't have that socket extender, you might want to purchase one. They are quite useful. I think they go for around $5 at hardware stores or Sears.

Removing the battery enables you to pull air box forward and reach in behind to take out the last two and low bolts. That's assuming you've already disconnected from the intake vent first. A little hustling and you'll get it. I know; I went through it last night. Good luck. srm

WEll, today I said screw it, and took it over to this shop. He installed it for me, no problem. He also said I should get an exhaust. Any opinions?
