How much should i expect to pay to get my wheel bearing and hub replaced at the dealer? I would do it myself, but working 12hr days kinda sucks....

front or rear? Ive been looking to change my front wheel bearing at the best I found was 200 bucks for bearing alone. But since ur talking dealer lets make that 2x and the hub is about 100-150, so your at about 500+ bucks.

I have a spindle that I am selling. Its used but the bearing/hub are good, if you wanted to do it your self, you would just have to take the spindle off and put the new one on (this is how I fixed mine when I was having a bearing problem. Let me know what side you need and if you are interested. I am also in VA

on the market, a wheel bearing (just one) costs about 40$ give or take a few bucks, but normaly no less then 40$.

wheel hubs dont always need to be changed. if they look worn from the bad bearings, then ya, they need to be changed.
they cost about 150$ give or take a few bucks.

install costs depending on the place, dont take it to a stealership in my opinion. buy the parts off the net or ask your mechanic how much they might cost from him (if cheaper than you can find go with his deal). the mechanic will need a press to remove and seat the bearing back into the hub because its not a whole assembly.

i dont know if you bought the parts, from elsewhere, would the mechanic do it? dunno so you have to ask them, some make profit buying the parts and selling to you at higher price (im guessing) so mabe they wont do it if you bought the parts. depends on the mechanic mabe? i dunno something to think about.
