At the 1 year mark...

Well, it has been exactly one year since I bought my 2k Maxima SE. After 15.5k miles and one year of driving, the car seems to be getting stronger every day. There have been a few annoyances with the brakes and having to get the auto tranny TSB work done. But other than that, it has been great. When I bought the car, I had no idea I would mod it. I really don't know what happened :vampire:... but it's all good... I just want to thank all you crazy maxima owners for making this a great place. That's what keeps me coming back here.... Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I agree the my Maxima seems to be getting stronger, too. I haven't quite had mine a year and I have over 15K. I've only added a K&N drop-in filter (from my 97 Altima I owned previously)and a FSTB. The only problem I had was that I had to get the radiator replaced (under warranty). There was a crack at the upper hose connection.
I just love this car......although my x-wife hates it. I bought it last year shortly before I got divorced......but if there's any consolation, the new girlfriends love it.

One year for me, too, and 17K miles. I am very upset my the brake, rear bumper, and paint defects...I luv the engine though. Wanted to give a few mods, but run out of dough:-)At first had a 10% platinum tint, cops caught me..then had a 25% smoked....caught me again..now I have no tint

16 more days till the one yr mark for me. At 23,000 miles on her already I have no regrets getting the Max. I am about to go to war with a particular Service Manager though. I just got the rotors cut last week for the second time and 5 days later they're warped again. They better replace them this time with no questions asked.

For your anniversary here's what you do:
1) get a midget
2) feed it beans
3) it'll produce gas
4) you get the best of both worlds
5) drive happily
6) as you blow everyone away
7) because your tranny just blew up
8) $$$$$$$ to fix it
9) repeat steps 5-9
Hehehehe
