Pretty easy, but takes some time. Looks AWESOME!

I will upload more pics tomorrow at work due to my SLOW connection speed here at home. Check Page 2 for my latest pics.

WOW, looks really sharp! I've got some coming from DaveB this week. I can't wait till I can fit them on.. BTW, don't take any of that crap I said about Tucson seriously. My girlfreind dragged me there against my will, so I had a preconcieved notion that I'd hate the place.. Tombstone still sucks though

The housing is clear, but the surround is the same color as the '00-01.

They are NOT Audi/Porche PURPLE like one of the pictures make it seem. They are EXTREME white with a BLUE tint. They look blue when you look directly into them. I'd say they are similar to the BMW X5 HIDs.

So what other things do we need to get the HID and the hi-beam to work. In an earlier thread we needed a Hella Kit? Do u still need that? Do u also need a new harness kit? Thanks.

I wanted to know since we both now have the 2K2 lights, how did you do the wiring?

Did you put a relay or did you just do straight up wiring and let it be for now where the highbeam cuts off the xenons?

I am working on a relay wiring with my friend maybe tonight to fix that problem.

NO relays and NO highbeam cut off. I will post a "under construction" HOW-TO as soon as I get some time in the next couple days. I will FIRST post a NEED TO BUY list for all those waiting, so they can track down the stuff they need ahead of time.

Again, I currently do NOT have relays, but I RECOMMEND them. I will be adding them so that I can run HIGHER current to the HI beams and eliminate ANY concerns I have. This setup has one MINOR issue I have not had time to figure out, but besides that and the need to eliminate the AUTO position on the light switch, I am satisfied that this is an acceptable way to wire things if you REFUSE to run relays.

The "MINOR issue" or NEW feature I refer too, is that the HI beam indicator lamp on the dash faintly flashes ALL the time(even with the key out!) unless the headlamps are on. I know why I just don't know if it's worth fixing, since it should be eliminated once I add the 2-relays.

Indeed we are waiting!

What issue? Please explain when you have an opportunity. I am more than curious at this point.

I think that I will wait to install the relays then. That would drive me nuts. Or in your write up you could include the relay in the schemos?
