hey

I test drove one today... and FYI 0-60 time is a helluva faster than my 2k max !!! (at least it seems that way, cuz I don't know the number,... sorry... but the 240hp 2k2 altima is 6.3 secs, that should help you put the new 255hp maxima in perspective..)

2k2 Altima 240 hp, does 6.3 secs, and remember the 2k2 Maxima is a bit lighter than the Max and has 255hp and 245 tq, and a C-R 6-speed.

Until there is dyno testing no one is sure that there is a 15hp advantage for the Max...it could just be the Altima underrated.

So the Altima does it in 6.28...the closer gearing and the HLSD should be worth 2-3tenths..so a guess of around 5.9-6.1 0-60.

Whats messed up is that how could and why would the max be as fast or even faster then the new Z next year?????????? its just not right, doesnt seem like they would want to do that. let me know what u guys think!!!

Its on order as we speak, Hopefully first week of October I get it, i'll even forget the HLSD, I want the car NOWWWWWW!

Its all good, For some reason I keep saying 245 tq, its embedded

Those are words of a true GM LS1 owner! The LS1 is grossly underrated in the fbody, you agree?

Yep....you can say that! Fbodys rated at 305HP at the flywheel, yet put down sometimes up to 310-315 at rear wheels were there suposted to lose 15%. Us C5 Corvette owners only have around 10hp on average on them (if that)....but where still 400 lbs lighter.
