Last Saturday I finally got my dream car. A 2001 Black Maxima 5-speed with C&C (why not 2002?-->considerable savings). I was ecstatic, driving every chance I got. Thus ends the best of times. The worst of times-->after the events that took place on Tuesday I just lost all enthusiasm I had for anything. I feel like I'm falling into depression like post-traumatic stress disorder. I have therefore decided that life must go on.

Congrats on your new purchase. I am sure a lot of people are feeling the way you are about this. But you are right, life must go on.

Congrats on the purchase, hope you enjoy

I know how you feel, this past week has gotten me down too. I feel pretty down myself, it hasn't seemed right to laugh or have fun with so much death. You can check out the "Off-Topic" thread, lots of people talking about the recent events...but yes, life must go on.

Yeah, it sure was black tuesday.

But I think that what's even more amazing is that this kind of stuff is not new. Planes running into both of the towers in less than 10 minutes is unimaginable and probably will not be repeated, but humans beings have caused other human beings great sufferings throughout the entire history. I seriously thought about why the world has to be the way it is and what causes all these terrible atrocities, but I can't figure it out.

And the element that amplifies this tragedy is the fact that we were attacked. Nobody dare attacks the mighty USA, but we were clearly attacked and this is shocking.
Say, If you were a korean living in korea, being attacked is not that shocking because you are used to it. Korea have been attacked by the chinese and japanese for over 2000 years and everytime there has been a major attack, women get raped, the husbands get killed and all that nasty stuff happened. That's why sometimes I see korean people who look like chinese or japanese and vice versa. And I'm sure when the Koreans invaded China, they did the same stuff. Humans cannot get along.

But life must go on. That's why I bought a Red PRCAI and Sprint springs.

enjoy the new car!

despite the tragedy, we must not let these horrible events keep feel discouraged, and scared...maybe that's what the terrorists really intended to do..

Re: Yeah, it sure was black tuesday.

Congrats on your purchase...you'll love it.

I agree with you about being focused on what's important in life after the Tuesday incident. I pretty much stopped visiting the Org for a couple of days following the tragedy because there was just no motivation. Hopefully all will work itself out.

Not a flame but this seems like an extremely simplistic explanation for why Asians look the same to you. It doesn't fly in my book.

says who???

i lived in korea for a long time but i'm not used to this kind of attacks at all...i don't know whether you lived in Korea at all, but you rarely see any terrorists attacks in Korea(except for North Korean spys and their ships and all, but they did not attack the cities...)...

i just didn't see how you were trying to justify your story about Koreans...
