We were at a red light, it was a black 2k2 Altima, VERY nice in person, I rolled my window done and told him he had a nice car, but not as nice as my max, he stated laughing (i was too), and he says that his altima is faster then my Max, so I go "you wanna bet", the light goes green, he screeches his tires and I am gone, and I cut him off after I was about 2 car lengths ahead. Felt very good.

Was it the 4 banger or the 6.

 

It was probably the 4 cylinder in auto ... as far as I know the manuals are not out yet ... least not where i live

 

if that's the case, what's the joy in beating a 4 banger altima?

If it was a 4cyc I doubt the guy would have meant to say and its faster than your max. I beat a auto v6 Altima already. They are not that fast.

You guys are missing the point. The Altima driver claimed his car was faster than the Max. So he had to be put in his place. Good kill. Nissan owner or not, he shouldn't be talking trash to his betters!

 

I don't know 'bout you guys but my races don't start out like this, all nice with a lot of chit-chat.

It's usually big egos that clash at the stoplight that initiate the races.

 

I have had a few races start of nice, most of them ending with the other car looking at my Italian flag on the back of my Max, LOL

As for the Altima, It was an Auto, i am guessing V6 but have no clue.

i beat bus's day in and day out! off the line and from a roll, there no match for me.. last night i got bored and tried to run a neon.. the guy wouldnt go

 

wait....Italian Max.....do you have an auto? Cuz if you did you didn't race a 3.5SE. Even an auto 3.5se should run low 7's 0-60. The 5sp has already proven to be a low 6 second car.

If you have an auto you raced either a 5sp or auto 4cy.

Still good kill I guess.
