Two things:

If it's for real, it can change before the 2003 model release.

I've heard from other forum members not to trust that site for information.

Ok, one more:

I'm not in the market for a new Maxima (I still owe 3 years of payments for my 2K Maxima) so I don't care what future Maximas look like. If I can apply a mod from that version to my car, then cool.

Ever since nissan has got new people to run it things have gotten more odder (yes odder). There starting to look like a honda/chrysler/lexes combo...think about it the new altima has the high trunk like the chryslers the max has bmw knock off lights, and 2 year old knock off tail lights...( why did they stop the cf lights?)

o well guess it's good im not loyal to brands.

I'm going to kill this guy that keeps creating these photoshopped pix...

They're fake! I've seen that supposed Maxima "spy shot" before in a British Car magazine. It's an Opel Vectra, that guy just made the car wider and changed colors to make it the "2003 Maxima". I even have the new Car and Driver from Hong Kong and it has another pic of that car, Opel Vectra is the title. %95 of the cars on that site are BS, those 95% are photoshops of exisiting photos...

If this is what the new Maxima will look like, then I'm getting rid of mine. That looks terrible!! I would never drive one of those.

But why would you get rid of yours if our year/gen looks good (and other years as well)...well at least I think so. I mean, i know it's one thing that the car looks bad, but at least you won't be the one driving it.

Lexus GS300

That is what the new 2003 Max should look like. The Lexus GS300 is one of the sportiest sedans I have ever seen.

Oh Well…

If by chance that's an idea of what the max will look like then the new Jaguar X sedan for about $32,000 just got a second look, in my book and will consider.

That is one pimp car. I love the exterior, but the interior isn't really that great. And they use Green for the gauges, like some toyotas. I hate green.

wow... if those were real pics, it would be in the running with the Aztek for the fugliest car ever!

btw- the site now reports the following:

"These pictures of the new 2003 Nissan Maxima have been very controversial lately.
L Let's put it this way: some idiot posted these picts a while ago on some european site, change them around to pass them as Opels.

Babs assured me these are of the Maxima. Both from the Nissan studio. The second photo seems to prove the first one..."
