lowering springs
does anyone know if the lowering springs for the 4th gen maxima and the 5th maxima are the same? the only reason i ask is because some companies like H&R and Eibach have two different stock numbers and companies like ptuning.com that sell Progress spings have one just one stock number for 95 - 2001.

The MAIN reason for me to consider Progress springs is I want a lower drop in the front and less in the rear. I hate cars that sit in "take-off" position...

Also, when you say that the springs does not sit correctly, does it mean one will have to cut/drill/saw any stock parts? or it is just a matter of being careful for it fits in one single position without any room for movement...
I guess I am little unclear about the fitting issue.
Thanks

progess springs
I got my progress springs and started my install...the bottoms of the rear springs didnt match up perfectly but enough of the spring is on the perch to be safe. you just gotta br sure everthing is lined up before you put it all back together.once the wheels were on and the car was on the ground, there were no problems and no strange noises.. when I got the springs shipped the progress box said 95-99 maxima..I gotta hold of pmpdesigns and he let me no they would work and they did.

Chillwill,
Let us know how the ride is!!! There are lots of us that are torn between the H&R's and the Progress springs. We know about the H&R's good ride quality but they don't seem to drop enough. Can the Progress Springs give us the best of both worlds, good drop and god ride?

lowering springs question
Just get a professional sped shop to do it for you. I had the Eibach pro-kit installed in my last car( a 2000 Accord V6 Coupe. Most rofessional shops will do a good job, and you will not even need to have the car aligned afterwards. Oh well just my .02
