Paint touch-up

I just washed my car thouroughly and touched it up in quite a few spots. This will protect the exposed metal in the cold season. I might try to use some rubbing compound/polish later on to smooth out the edges.

Langka makes a paint chip repair kit for 19.99 that one of my local dealers uses with great success. Try www.autosupermart.com for item and look under Langka. Also follow up with some Zaino (www.zainobros.com) for a beautiful finish.

what is included in that repair kit? it's just a touch up...what's that zaino staff to smooth out? I just thought to get some rubbing compound on the rag and work only the painted area, then polish, and wax..never had any experience with this before though

some scratches were too deep might have to put another layer of touch up paint. I'll try to get that compound, but maybe in the spring.

With the Langka kit it has the fine grit sandpaper and a compound to remove excess paint. It also has a hints page to repair like the pros. You will still need to purchase touchup from Nissan.

Zaino is one of the best waxes to be used on the Maxima. It will hide some flaws (try z-5 first) and will provide a shine that will far outshow other products like Mequires, Waxshop, and Mothers.
