First weekend back and some fresh kills (kinda long)

Ok, nothing special, but I'm just happy to be driving again. My ship was deployed off the east coast about 2 hours after the events on Sep. 11, and we were up and down the coast for the next 3 weeks. NYC, then Boston, ack to NYC, Jax, Miami, then up the Ches. Bay to watch DC for a few days. We were the only armed ship with missiles on the entire waterfront at the time, so we were sent to all the priority places first. Tons o' fun, especially ****ing off all the European pilots who we had to turn back. Damned if they weren't friggin mad....Anyways, on to my newest kills...

On the way back to Charlotte to visit the family, I'm cruising along at about 80, and I see a couple pairs of headlights coming up pretty quick in my rearview. I slow it down a bit and a minute later a riced-out S-10 Xtreme flies by with an even ricier Ranger up his butt. Both had the works-fart can exhaust tips, huge spoilers, ugly *** rims, and the Ranger had Japanese writing on it. Mericfully, a Caddy up ahead is taking his time passing a semi, and they both slow way down. I move up behind the Ranger, and after the Caddy moves over, the S-10 goes by him and hops in the other lane to let the Ranger come alongside. There is NO ONE else on the road besides the Caddy & semi we just passed, so I figured what the hell. I get in behind the S-10 so they think nothing's special with the Maxima, and wait for them to go. They dropped it down to about 65, and both floored it. Hard to miss that sound. Seeing as how he didn't have those cool *** stickers I don't know how the S-10 took the lead, but he did. I was right up his *** the whole time and had to back off a bit until there was room to move around him. Soon as there was, I floored it and ripped by him as he gave me the "what the ****??" look. I got it up to about 125 and slowed back down to 80. The S-10 came alongside and gave me "the look", and floored it again. About a billionth of a second later I flew by him again, and he gave up. Then the Ranger came up and tried the same ****, but with even less success, and he kept trying again and again. Eventually it got boring, and I dropped back down to 80 to continue on my way. After several minutes of yelling and finger gestures on his part, he eventually took off. I have a hard enough time with regular ricers, but these idiots took the cake. But it did make a fine homecoming present, and ended up being the only kills I had the whole weekend. I think it's time to go out ricing tonight and maybe relieve some of my underway anxiety...

What's the point of ricing a pick-up...

Nice on the kills

Hey, I'm thinking about getting an Extreme S10. What was riced about it, so I don't make the same mistakes I'm planning on chrome 18s or 20s, tinted windows, and a stereo system...that's it.

Well, it looked like he'd done a little extra body work to it. The front air dam was changed to one of those that looks like a damn snowplow, different side flares, he had a foot-high spoiler, altezzas, huge (19's or 20's?) chrome rims, four fog lights, and some stickers that I didn't bother to look at closely, but I think one said "powered by Chevy". I actually kinda like the normal Xtreme body kit, but this was a horribly mutated version of that. Oh, and the Xtreme was in huge letters that covered the entire tailgate. But the Ranger was even worse...
