Anyone have Place Racing Engine Mounts?

I'm looking at Cattman's Place Racing Heavy Duty Polyurethane Engine Mounts priced at $245.00US. If these will eliminate wheel hop I think they are worth it for sure! How long do you think it would take to install them? Anyone who has them please let us know your opinions?

hrm... what would happen to our electronically controlled oil filled dampening engine mount if we got those??? i think one of my engine mounts are damaged.. i can really really feel the vb shifting alot harder now.. so i think it's the engine mounts.. or maybe the vb is workign the way it was suppose to... or maybe my tranny is hurting from it.. i wish my car could speak more words to me.

About 2-3 hours to install both. You just have to support the engine when doing it from underneith.

Have you noticed any change in the way the car feels after installing the mounts?

Is that constantly or just with a hard launch?

These motor mounts are really only meant for 5 speeds

Some guys with autos have out them on and suffered with really bad vibrations at idle, while in D. In a 5 speed, that's not an issue.

I've got a pair of these engine mounts, a JWT Stage II Clutch, and a Cattman/Quaife ATB Differential to be installed in the next 10 days or so. I'll post my perceptions immediately after the maiden voyage...
