Y-pipe problem

Y-pipe problem

My car sounds like a motorcycle at low RPMs.It didn't sound like this before I was thinking maybe it was lose but it yesterday it didn't now it does again.Any body know what this could be.I have had it about year and a half.

check the flex joint and make sure it is not leaky. What pipe do you have? Stillen or Cattman? Also, make sure the gaskets are secure at the cat joint and at the manifolds....

It's more then likely the gasket between the cat and the Y-pipe. You need to get a new metal one from Nissan because all other gaskets fall apart.

If the flex joint is back is their a way to replace it.Well I guess I'll have to put it on the ramps to see what the problem it.Thanks for the help

don't need ramps. just start the car, have someone press the gas while you look under to see where the air/smoke is blowing out of.
