Head lights Adjustment

I just placed new Xenon HID's on my 2001 Max. They look great except I dont like where they are brightening up the road. They seem to low and I cant seem to see incoming pot holes when driving. Makes it kinda difficult not having those hi-beams. Is there any adjustments to bring these lights up alittle bit higher?

Thanks in advance...

There is a small metal screw on the back, just turn it either way with a socket wrench. That will either lower or raise the assembly.

Interesting. After switching to HID, I have the feeling I should point my headlights further DOWN because of the brightness difference.

Did you have any problems before you switched? Did you have to use high beams often?

As to the question, it was already answered There's a screw on the back of each headlight.

If you are getting an aftermarket set of HID's, there is no need to remove the headlamp assembly at all. All you have to do is take out the old bulb and put in a new one.

If you are talking about the 2K2 headlamp assemblies, no you still don't need to take the bumber off.

Hum.. i didn't know that.. some one said b4 that u need to take the bumper off to get the headlamps out.. i guess not.. so i can just un screw all screws holding the headlamp in w/o removing the bumper.. sounds good..
