touching up
I found a chip on the left corner on my rear bumper when I picked up my car. I told the dealership and they sent me a small container of nissan touch up paint (about 2 months later). When I tried to apply it, it would go on clear instaed of white. Could it be that i have too much wax over the chip or do i need to just shake the bottle more?

as none of the regulars have replied yet, i'll give you my 2 cents...
you should strip the wax off the area you plan on touching up.
then apply with like a toothpick or something (plan on several coats,
don't try to do it all at once) after shaking the bottle for like
10 minutes. then when finished with the multiple coats, wax over the top for protection.
also heard the white is VERY tough to get matched, even with effective
shaking of the touch-up paint.
hope this helps
