Question about the 2002 Max ad with Death

I'm sure many have seen the commercial, where The Grim Reaper is giving chase on a horse to a 2002 Maxima. It's fun, but silly.

Anyway... my question, what is that music that is being played? Just some random clip Nissan dug up or is it part of known song?

I'll be surprised if anyone know's what it is. I'd like to know.

Thanks

I have wondered about this "odd" ad and what death is supposed to represent. It could represent the relentless Accord and Camry love affair this country has..and how it still hasn't killed off our beloved Maxima. Or is it meant to be just a fun pre-Halloween ad?

I think it's more of a "You'd be surprised what you can outrun in our new car" type of advertisement. I saw it on TV over a month ago. I thought it was pretty clever. I don't really think it's a Halloween ad. I think you're trying to read too much into the ad. I think the grim reaper is just supposed to represent death.

I haven't seen it for a while. They pulled it I guess...I still like the Maxima chasing the sun the most, this commercial sorta sucked to me.

yeah. me too. chasing the sun one made me really consider a manual. i just like listening to the engine in these commercials. i don't know if it's a performance thing, but that high pitched engine whine at hi rpm sounds really cool to me.
