Black Dots On My 2001 Bumper

I have an Icelandic white 2001 Max. The color is beautiful except it is a pain in the *** to keep clean. Everytime I wash the car, I notice these damn little dots on my rear bumper. I tried to remove these millions of dots with wax and tar/bug remover, but it wont come off that easy. The only way I was able to remove these little dots from my paint was by sraping it with my finger nails. My finger nails are hurting and I cannot afford to spend hours scraping these dots off of my bumper everytime I wash my car. Has anyone experienced this problem with their Max? If so, what method or product did you use to remove these dots?

Thanks in advance....

Black dots

I have pearl also and it is a ***** to keep clean!! Not only do those damn spots show up on the bumper but they also show up on the rest of the car. What I do is wash the ***** down and then go over the car with Meg. pre wax cleaner. After that doing one section at a time use the Mothers clay bar. When your done she is ready for waxing. With this process I have spent an easy 8 hours doing the whole car! When you are done she will glow!!!

Hey titot4u, it is probably some tar that come from street pavment, just use a some car gaz on a towell, rub gently these black dot and they will disapear easily. I did it myself on my car and doesn't hurt the paint or anything. It should not take more than couple of minutes to clean the entire bumper.

cheers

The clay bar and lubricant is about 30.00. Get the Gunk tar remover it has a lil gas in it! Works like a charm! Saturate the towel.

i got my clay bar for $10.00USD, at autozone, a local auto parts store. mine is meguirs, it was the cheapest i could find, but i've also seen mother's clay bar at disount auto parts for $15.00, and i think zaino sells a clay bar also.

just check your local auto parts store. it's pretty simple to use too. just spray the lube included or water onto the car and rur the bar over the area, make sure to keep the area wet with whatever you use.

good luck.
