Drilling Holes for side markers?

I was thinking about getting side markers for my maxima. Has anyone done it yet? If so, noticed any rust forming? Thanks

Rewire them and they become indicators.

Real answer: drill and then use touch-up paint.

I like them to stay on all the time, not blink with the indicators. I want the BMW, SAAB, Volvo etc euro look of an idicator on the fender.

Ya I agree we already have two sidemarkers that can have clears and hyper whites. I hate those sidemarker things..even a 1984 Rusted out Accord pizza delivery guy's car has them!
