Spray-On Wax ???

I was at a Gatoraide All Pro NASCAR race this weekend and saw a product that might make things a bit easier - I thought I would check it out with others first. They use a spray-on wax in an aerosol can before the race to first make the car look good, and second to improve air flow. I was thinking that this would be a great after car wash product. It looked pretty good, but then again, it was a fiberglass body and it was a race car, so how good does it really have to look. I was told that those who show their cars also use this type of product to put on just before the judges look at the car. What do you think?

Sounds like a quick-detail product. I like Meguiars #34. Its good for cleaning up minor stuff and leaves a very smooth finish... plus it smells great

I love Meguiars Quick Detailer. I hear the 3M stuff is good too. A friend of mine owns a body shop and he swears by the 3M stuff.

I have used the Meguiar 3 steps before and liked what I saw. Recently used Zaino and that is great also. It is easier to apply.
Zaino is expensive so next time I might try the Meguiar Gold (the one step application). Will go buy some of the Meguiar quick detailer like you guys said. I would go with Zaino but it's much easier to go to the store and get some M.

if you like Meguiars 3-step stuff, you will ike their Mirror Glaze stuff even more. It comes in tan bottles and is numbered. It is much better than the 3-step stuff in maroon bottles. Get #7 show car glaze and #26 hi-tech yellow.... its a great combo

The best stuff I've found is called Prolong.

Can find it at Pep Boys, or Trak Auto.

its just to wipe off excess tire shine off. and spread it around a bit. it actually works, unless you do it real hard then the paper shreads and you get it on your tires.
