FRONT BUCKET SEAT ISSUES

FRONT BUCKET SEAT ISSUES
Any suggestions on where I can find inexpensive replacement front bucket seats for my 2000 Maxima? (leather with side air bags), I've searched junk yards etc.
I have back problems and doctor suggested if possible, to replace front bucket because of the firmness and the lack seat cushion and lateral support. Am currently looking into buying sheepskin covers and reinforcing them with space foam.
Any suggestions are welcomed!

Another option would be to go to an Upholster and have the seat custom done to fit you. It is not recommend you use seat covers when you have an airbag in the seat, it cannot extract properly when blown.

The seat covers I found are especially made for seat mounted airbags. Any suggestions on where to find used or new Infinity I30/35 or Maxima 2001-2002 used seats (already call dealer and they wanted $2000.00 per seat)? I've searched ebay already.

REmove the lumbar support
I have a 2K, and also had back pain whenever I drove the car. I normally drive withthe seat at it's lowest position, but that would place the lumbar support in axactly the most painful back location. When I raised the seat to place teh lumbar support in the most comfortable position, then my head would touch the roof.
I went to a local upolsterer and he did 3 things for me.
First, he removed the lumbar support. It is just a piece of heavy wire with a thin piece of plastic. It has NO compliance!
Second, he installed a Z-Spring in place of the lumbar support.
Third, he added some padding to make the seat more comfortable. All for $100.
It is 100% better than before, but it could still be tweaked.
