One bulb has colorshifted, you'll need two new bulbs for a matching color.

Even if they are working on it, it is physically impossible. The 2000 headlights use what, H4? The stock HIDs off a 2004 uses D2S bulbs meant for HID projectors, and a Matsu****a ballast. There is no way he can fit the D2S into that H4 housing, maybe if superglued, or duct taped or whatever.

Unless he is retrofitting, I don't see how it is possible.

Nah, they make a D2R to H4 adapter plate on ebay. Do a quick search on it. My friend bought it and works.

Install

Didnt want to start a thread and get flamed. My car got rearended on the 23 and i had some money left over from the repair so i finally ordered all the pieces to finally install the 2k2 lights on my 2k. I have 2 different write -ups so im good on the write ups. Just wondering from anyone who did the retro if i could use this piece instead of hacking off the 9003 female from factory harness. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-90...spagenameZWDVW

The color difference sometimes comes from the bulb being touched (oil from fingertips burning). Try removing the bulb and cleaning it with an alcohol pad. That may help.

The color difference comes from the HID bulb color shifting. Finger oil on the bulb would've burnt it long ago.
