Alright this is story has a happy ending.

I parked my car at a church overnight and when I went back, it was gone. I didn't really freak out, more pissed. They towed my car. So I call the tow company and they tell me its $65 and to pick it up. So I get a ride to the address and see my car on the end row. There is no fence. I remote start it, walk up to it, and drive off. Finders Keepers!!! Thought they'd at least have a boot on it or something, oh well sucks for them, hope they're calling the police and reporting it stolen.

Good story!

I am sure you are going to get a notice in the mail or something. I think I would have done the same thing. I can understand if it was some POS car....and it sat there for a week...but for them to tow it after one night I would be pissed!

You should go back and try to claim the car - then enjoy seeing them scurry around when they can't find it!

Well done. Serves em right for stealing your car and not putting it in a secure location. Though I like Maximizd's idea. Do it!!!

I was thinking about doing that too. I found out why they don't have a fence. They stole my rear license plate. I'm going to find a scratch and blame them. I didn't notice the plate missing because I walked up to the front of the car. Dirty bastards.

It seems the rear license plate is the reason they don't need a fence. They hold the plate so you can't steal it.

So if you keep your plate inside your car, by the rear windshield, they have to break into it to steal your plate?

Id say just report someone stole your license

plates and have it reregistered under some new ones. Then no worries and no probs, hehe
