Driver side door panels rattle. No TSB? Can someone help?
Hello, ihave the 2002 Max SE and noticed that the driver side (and a little on the passenger side) door panel where the power window/lock switches are on rattle quite a bit and is very annoying.
I wasn't able to find a TSB for this particular type of rattling, can anyone offer tips/suggestions on how i could fix this?
It's the actual piece of plastic where the buttons are that rattles btw, if i hold it down the rattle stops.
Thanks.

Hello Mike,
I know what you are talking about. I have had my 2002 GXE for 3 days and I heard the rattling in the door last night on the way to dinner. I must admin that the rode was rough, but the ride was pretty smooth and quiet except for that dang rattling! I just turned up the radio with my handy stering wheel buttons.
I will also be looking for a solution to this problem, let me know if you find anything out.
Also, have you thought about any mods? I wonder what stuff from 2001 fits the new cars.
thanks,
chris

mine does it too, but the rattling on mine seems to come from the plastic concave in the door arm rest, it's the little circular piece of plastic in there that is rattling-has anyone heard any rattling from that piece on theres?
Guys, glad to know i'm not alone in this...
Anyway, when i first got the max the rattle wasn't so pronounced (i couldn't even put my finger on it... that is, as to where the rattle was).
As i started putting miles (up to 2500 miles now)
on it the rattle became more pronounced until i was finally able to simulate the simple rocking / bass on stock radio to make the panel rattle. Now it's more annoying than ever. Even with my radio on "4 - 5" the rattle is there.
As for the concave, i noticed that my window rattles when half-way down but as lately it stopped doing that.
I'll try taking apart the panels to see if there's something i can do to get rid of the rattle... hopefully Nissan will issue a TSB for this.

Chris,
Not sure yet... i'll probably just put in a strut bar up front for now. Coming from a Civic most of the products i was used to hearing/reading about doesn't apply to the Max but at least with Max' Org's help i'll learn enough to get up to speed (literally and figuratively)
