02-03 aftermarket OEM fog lights questions

I tried searching but couldn't find the answer. Has anyone tried aftermarket OEM style fog lights for an 02-03? Do they give off a beam as good, better or worst then OEM Nissan lights? Are they more prone to breaking or about the same as OEM Nissan? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've got the PIAA SuperPlasma H3's and within 6 months one of my lenses cracked. I heard they were hotter, but thought it was just a coincidence until about two months later the other side had a crack in the lens that mirrored the first. They look great and match the color of the headlight. As far as better vision with them, I didn't notice a difference.

Stick to OEM, the aftermarket Depo brand isnt as good quality. I had a fish bowl puddle in mine shortly after.

I use the PIAA 510 series, the driving light lens instead of the dicroic fog lens.
I put in PIAA H3 Extreme White Plus bulbs VERY bright! and I have had no trouble at all.

Be aware they are hotter so turn them off in the car wash.

I have the Optilux Halos and I have no complaints at all. Someone had some cheap plastic green halo pieces of garbage in there when I bought the car.

The downside is that you have to take the light out in order to change the bulb, but small price to pay for a glass lens, which I don't think the OEs have.

The beam is the same and they crack/break just as much as the OEM. Brittle Glass and High Heat does that. The 00/01's got lucky with their plastic lenses.

i agree that both oem and aftermarket fog lenses break, but from my personal expirience, oem last ALOT longer than the cheap aftermarket forgs like the ones sold on ebay.

"Has anyone tried aftermarket OEM style fog lights for an 02-03? Do they give off a beam as good, better or worst then OEM Nissan lights? Are they more prone to breaking or about the same as OEM Nissan?" I guess I wasn't clear in my question, some people understood what I was asking while others didn't. I am not referring to "bulbs" I am asking about the fog light assembly. Yes I had already checked that link along with others before I posted, that is why I said I searched. I had thought I had read a while back that the aftermarket OEM style fogs are more prone to breaking but I couldn't find anything in the 5th gen forum on it so then I thought I may have read that on the 4th gen forum.

I guess it's a YMMV thing, my aftermarket ones have actually lasted longer between breaks than my OEMs did.
