I have a 2K GXE (no sunroof). It has been raining in the Northeast for a couple days now. So today I get in my car and when I pull forward a stream of water comes down on me from ceiling. It was coming from the seam where the plastic trim meets the ceiling on the drivers side. I took a look at all the seals in that general area (door, windshield etc) and diddn't see any visable damage.

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have an idea as to what it could be?

For whatever reason the water seemed to only come down when I accelerated.

 

I had a similar experience, but it was after i left my sunroof cracked, so not the same cause, but the water pooled up in the a-pillar and flows out when you accelerate or turn just like a very full cup of coffee
