What do you Guys think of these headlights???

I have done my research on here and know that the Ebay projectors are garbage, but I came across these last night and was wondering what you guys think of the legitamacy. They appear to be direct OEM replacements. I have seen that everyone here on the Org. seems to be selling their original sets for around $450-$500. Are these just as good? I looked around and did some research on here and could not find where anyone has questioned these before, so I hope I don't get torched for this. Let me know what you guys think. I'm getting ready to buy a set within a month or two. Should I go for them?

I wouldnt buy anything other than factory Nissan headlights. My car was in a fender bender before i bought it and the passenger side light is after market. While the headlight looks identical to the original, the beam pattern is horrible. Just my oppinion on them.

those are depo headlights...i used those for my retrofit...fitment was a bit off on the passenger side...driver side seems fine...had to really jam it in to fit especially trying to get the side aligned with the holes. i can't say for sure how the beam will look like since i used tsx projectors in them. but nothing beats oem =)

Don't get them. They are GARBAGE!!! After my accident (not my fault...but that's another thread) the body shop replaced both of my headlights with those exact headlights. The fitment is garbage and the beam pattern and light output is horrible. I demanded that my insurance company replace them with the OEM HIDs and there is no comparison. I felt unsafe driving at night with those depot headlights.

it's probably the angle the picture was taken...i bought mine from the same ebay seller and the headlights had all tabs and stuff. if i was to do it again i wouldn't have gotten depot ones anymore...i would retrofit in oem ones haha

v6guy, for $500, you should:

$150 eBay projectors
$100 E46 projectors
$150 OEM HID ballasts
$100 used D2S HID bulbs

Having better lighting than 99% of 5th genners = priceless

Only thing you need to do is swap the eBay projector for the E46 one, direct replacement.

Will all of these parts directly fit in? Will I have to do any cutting?

I have no problem spending $450-$500 on lights, as long as they are going to be decent. I am not however, going to spend $1000 at Nissan. Trying to find somewhat of a plug and play if that makes any sense. I don't mind possibly trying a retro fit if it comes down to that. I just don't want to screw up and waste money since I have never done it before.

You'll need to open up the eBay headlights, drill a few new holes to mount the new projector, seal up the headlight, and aim if needed. Then tap two wires to power the ballasts.

well i bought those from ebay since mine got stolen and they do come with both brackets idk why in the picture it looks like that...

the only thing is the output isnt as uniform as OEM.....it looks more like a blob of light on the streets...it doesnt have as str8 as a cut off as oem

idk how to explain it lol
