01 with 02-03 HIDz, question

i have an 01 max, se. did the fog light mod a while back. now i just installed the 02-03 headlights. everything works but maybe not light it should. the blinker that is in the headlight only blinks when giving a signal. when the headlights are on they are out? do i have something wrong. hidz work, high beams work, small upper light i believe works, but are blown.

should the orange blinker be lit, whe the lights are on?

The turn signal light should only be on when you use it to indicate when you're making a turn.

the amber light is only a blinker. the parking light is the one above the blinker.

Most worthless post ever. If you're too lazy to provide any information at all, don't bother wasting time to post this garbage.

To the OP, check the Group deal forums for some good deals on HIDs.

Now was that so f*cking hard? This site is starting to **** me off....

despite my better judgment, i answered his question. a question that could be answered by looking at the car. the orange light is the blinker...it blinks.

im not going to make him think he can get spoon fed when he asked such a common question as bulbs. i didnt completely blow him off...i told him how to get the answer. he was ok with that. who are you to cry about it

i have the information...im just not going to perpetuate spoon feeding

you know whats pissing me off? stupid repeat post that violate the rules and then people defending them

Repeat post? How about this one:

I've seen this post more times than any other topic mentioned on this site. You waste more bandwidth telling people to search and getting in ignorant arguments defending your "no spoonfeeding" mentality than it would take to just answer the fukcing question, which half the time you don't even know the answer to.

This is a forum. You start threads asking questions that you have. Who the fukc cares if john doe posted it once 5 years ago? Now if it's something that's on the first or second page I understand that's annoying, but god damn you, as well as others, constantly complain about every single topic posted that's been talked about once before on this site.

You don't like it? DONT FUKCING POST. Simple as that. I'm sure someone who actually doesn't mind helping people will answer the question.

Am I crying? No, I'm just pointing out how idiotic your posts are. And you have the exact same attitude of some of the stuck up BMW drivers that think they're god. Just because you're a "veteran" on an online forum doesn't make you any more or less experienced or knowledgeable than anyone. Get over yourself.

I think an interesting psychological question is: If every newb that posts a repeat question is flamed, will that decrease the chances that the next newb will post a repeat question?

we can only hope.

i just try to stop the perpetuation of it. even if the newbs that was "flamed" learns the right way to get an answer, that helps.

what doesnt help is other veterans defending newbies making them think thats its ok and that they can just ignore the other veterans (and mods).

we need to all back up the mods in reminding new people of the rules and the way we can all make this forum run better. i dont do what i do to be mean. i do it to make the forum run better. if i take all the grief, im ok with that.

I see your point.

Have you ever considered saving a canned response, that included a few pointers on the rules of the forum, how to search, how to do the "show" to "old" trick, etc? 10 minutes today would let you respond in a helpful way within 10 seconds every time in the future.

All of that is, of course, in the sticky's... but even the most diligent newbie will not read all of the stickys before posting (there are currently 1460 posts contained in the stickys in the 5th Gen forum alone, not to mention the wheel/tire forum, suspension forum, etc).

Just a suggestion, coming from a newb who is still smoking a little from the flames

Completely laughable. The 5th gen forum has turned into the worst running forum I've ever seen. Just take a look at some of the very old threads you posted in. They were short, simple, and all questions were answered. NOW half of them are 2 page flame fests. Oh yes, that makes the forum run so much better

The idiocy is overwhelming. Have a good night. I have to go to bed so that I can wake up at 6:30 am and stay up all week for classes/homework. Have fun making the forum 'run better'

i answered the original question then said

we arent going to keep spoon feeding you.

1. search
2. post in newbie thread

he replied and it was done. point was proven. we were all moving on. the thread was moving down.

YOU started this argument with your long complaining post.

if people didnt reply to me with complaining about how im mean and this forum sucks...the threads would die. dont blame me.

Complain or make suggestions? I don't recall having any emails in my inbox where you've reported a bad post.

That tool is available to you as well

well didnt this turn into the biggest POS i have ever seen. final post.

i was a litte pissed at your reply. if u dont want to give the answer just dont reply. the search engine on here is very bland, and will bring back many unrelated post. i geuss when a 5 year old asks you a question, you tell him that he should be able to read. and brush him off.

this was my question to the normal maxima folks out there.

yes the blinker blinks, but on the stock 01 headlight geuss what, it blinkes also. but it also comes on with the headlight. that explains my question.

some people just enjoy starting E fights. grow up

thanks to all the people that respond to posts. correctly

holla
