I'm thinking what it will look like with factory spoiler
or put it on the roof, or put it on the hood close to the windshield

hey guys its been a bit since ivbe posted but im back. I have lip spoiler on mine as well. I have some pics up on my cardomain site. The one on here looks pretty nice. The only difference on mine is this.
where the flat spot of the trunk is just before it angles down is where i have mine. Its slightly curved. Mine isnt painted yet so it does look unfinished. Im gonna do it come the spring. i like mine. Makes it look unique.

If anyone would like to donate a lip that they don't want for the price of shipping.... I've got a plan to make it flow better. Plus I've still got some carbon fiber left over lol.

I'm thinking of making it more like this lip...

Will try to do that sometime tonight.

I was looking at the 6th gen lip spoiler and wondered if I could do something like it on the 5th gen. For some reason I can't get around how the m3 lip looks where it dips down with the trunk when it should be up higher.

I'm just really nit picky I guess?!

PS: Does anyone with a 6th gen have the length of the trunk? I'm not sure what the 5th gen trunk length is either!?

If anyone has those lengths please reply in here

Also looked at the sarona spoiler for the 6th gen. For some reason I like this one a lot...if it could be made to work with a 5th gen trunk I think it'd look awesome.

notice how the nissam emblem is molded to the spoiler for the 6th gen. i just think it looks weird on the flat portion of trunk (see picture above of 5th gen)

I'm not too sure if I'm feeling the 6th gen spoiler on the 5th gen trunk.

I also edited it without the emblem but it just isn't flowing like I thought it would. Also did one with the first spoiler I posted but photoshop shut down on me before I could save!

Yes. Really not feeling it. Maybe I'm too used to not having a spoiler. Or maybe I need to curve it to match with the trunk.

yeah that looks weird with the 6th gen spoiler. it looks really out of place. i dont think its going to make any difference if you curve it to the trunk. good job on quick ps none the less.

with the design of our trunk lids, you really need a full spoiler. that "m3" one just looks weird...too small.

I agree.

I'll just stick with no spoiler since the look has grown on me.

Hotness...I think the fat *** trunk looks better without a spoiler. But I am liking the lip spoiler.

I agree, it looks very out of place. The GLE lid w/o the spoiler looks much cleaner (imho) than that. I've always been one to choose function over form, what is the benefit of that little strip of plastic? Will it keep you planted at high speeds? If not, then it not only looks hideous but also does nothing.

NK i dont mind ya posting it. Everyone has there own likes and dislikes. I know, it does look wierd just since it isnt painted. I think it gives it a different unique look. Some like, some dont. Once the winter goes by and it gets warmer ill paint it so it isnt so in your face. Very easy to clean to. No junk above or below to clean and once its on the trunk its stuck there.
