Just wondering, why would you want just MMIs versus a full mount replacement?

well i havent changed mines and i wanna get rid of wheel hop. and its jus something to do to the car. i dono if the ES bushings are jus inserts or what. wanted to know if there was a difference in the ES bushings and racingline MMI, and if the racingline MMI would work on a 5th gen since the its made for 6th gen. my mount isnt broken or anything. when changing the mount your not changing the metal part anyhow.

Theap bump........sorry for the late post............

Racingline inserts will install in seconds once the mount is removed vs. the ES insert which needs to be pressed into you stock mount with a hydraulic press, Actually it's the stock rubber inside that needs to be pressed out or cut away. Either way it's more time consuming and more labour intensive.

I've not tested the Racingline inserts on a 5th gen but I've looked into it and I know the front mount is the same. not sure about the rear. If anyone wants to test them send me a PM and we'll arrange a deal.

ES mounts are perfect, took my hop out completely. If you launch hard itll just sit there and fry em.

finally some answers.. haha man i made this post so long ago. taz did you ever get my email about the rear links that started to make noise after install? so the front MMI will work and the rear is a maybe? now i need to look into install how to. im guessing the whole mount has to come out before install the insert correct? wanna get this whole engine shifting business outta the way soon.. its become somewhat annoying... hit me back TAZ
