I did a search and couldn't find any helpful info about this. If I missed it, please feel free to point me there.

My 00 GLE driver side seat (non heated) has an issue with the "butt cushion" adjustment. Used to be it seemed if we lowered both the front and back tilt all the way down, occasionally it seemed to "stick", or not come back up when we tried to adjust it up. I told my wife just never to max it out up or down and if you do, back it off instantly. Well, she maxed the front down and now (well, for the past year) the front adjustment won't function anymore, but the rear part of the seat does. Recline, F <-> R all work fine too.

Common problem? I've sat on this (no pun intended) for a while now. We recently tried to trade in our Maxima for an Odyssey (wife's decision), but were somewhat pleased to get it back (aside from having an extra payment) because of a Virginia DMV paperwork screw-up that says the car has 100k more on it than it actually does. Now that we have it back, I'm starting to try to get it back to 100%.
